Providing information under the Freedom of Information Act

Procedure for the application of Act No. 211/2000 Coll. on free access to information and on amendments and supplements to certain acts (Freedom of Information Act)

Integrated transport of the Žilina and Trenčín regions, s.r.o. is, pursuant to § 2 para. 3 of the Act No. on Freedom of Information (Freedom of Information Act) by an obliged entity.

A request for information addressed to an obliged entity must clearly state:
a) who is submitting the request (must include the applicant’s first name, surname, title or business name),
b) the applicant’s residence address or registered office,
c) what information the request concerns,
d) what method of making the information available is proposed (e.g. in writing, by e-mail, etc.)

The application can be submitted:
a) in writing, as a postal item to the address: Integrated Transport of the Žilinského and Trenčianskeho kraj, s.r.o., Pri Rajčianke 2900/43, 010 01 Žilina,
b) in writing by personal delivery to the address above,
c) orally at the secretariat of the company’s manager,
d) by telephone (between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.) at tel. number +421 915 896 535,
e) by e-mail to the address: 211@idzk.sk

The application submitted pursuant to letters a) to d) can be submitted during working days from 09:00 to 14:00. Applications submitted by e-mail can be submitted without any time limit.

Remedies:
A decision of the obliged entity to refuse the requested information may be appealed, pursuant to Section 19 of the Freedom of Information Act, within 15 days of delivery of the decision or the futile expiry of the period, against the decision on the request pursuant to Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Act. The appeal is filed with the obligated person who issued or should have issued the decision.

When processing applications, we process the applicant’s personal data only to the extent necessary to process the application and maintain records. When making information available, we ensure the protection of personal data and privacy and the application of legal exceptions.
