Organizer IDS PLUS
Basic information
The organizer of the integrated system IDS PLUS is the company Integrovaná doprava Žilina a Trenčín Region s.r.o., whose mission is to maintain and increase the number of passengers in public transport. Creating high-quality integrated transport is an effective means of reducing individual car transport.
Carrier connection
Within the region, it is a systemic connection between the lines and connections of individual carriers: rail transport, suburban bus transport and urban mass transport systems of the regional capital and other urban agglomerations. An integrated transport system must be built primarily for the passenger.
Increasing security
The priority objective is to reduce the share of passenger cars in the total volume of transport, which mainly means: increasing safety, increasing the overall well-being of residents, reducing air pollution by exhalations, reducing noise, reducing the occupation of public space, and reducing the costs of building infrastructure for cars.

Our goal
The creation of high-quality public passenger transport in the Žilina and Trenčín regions is a prerequisite for a sustainable urban mobility network.
The most important goal is considered to be maintaining the existing number of passengers in public passenger transport and, if necessary, achieving its increase, by creating a quality offer that fully satisfies the needs of passengers. A functioning, attractive and, above all, used public passenger transport is the basic pillar of a developed and functioning territory.
Sustainable regional and urban mobility with a higher share of public passenger transport will increase interest in business investments and tourism and is significantly more environmentally friendly. The tool for sustainable development of territorial services is the continuous development of public transport systems.
