Extraordinary change in timetables from August 1, 2026

The main change concerns the time adjustments of selected trains on railway line 126 Žilina – Rajec in connection with the modernization of station security equipment at the Lietavská Lúčka and Bytčica railway stations. Following the changed train departure times, the timetables of selected regional bus lines will also be adjusted.

Train changes Žilina – Rajec

In the direction Žilina – Rajec:

• trains Os 3504 and Os 3506 will depart from Žilina 3 minutes later (5:40, 6:40), they will arrive in Rajec 7 minutes earlier (6:18, 7:18),
• train Os 3508 will depart 12 minutes later on the Žilina – Lietavská Lúčka section, arriving in Rajec at the same time (8:25).

In the direction Rajec – Žilina:

• train Os 3503 will run at a later time Rajec departure (5:34) – Žilina arrival (6:12), 4 minutes later from Rajec in time with trains 3501 and 3505,
• trains starting with Os 3507 will usually depart Rajec at the 38th minute (4 minutes later) and arrive in Žilina at the 17th minute.

Vďaka zmene sa takmer polovici vlakov skráti prestoj pri križovaní z 13 minút na 3 minúty.
