Extraordinary train changes

From February 1, 2026, due to closures in the Bratislava – Rača – Leopoldov and Trnava – Cífer sections, an extraordinary change to the timetable will come into effect, also affecting the Žilina and Trenčín regions.

Trains Ex 4x, 6xx TATRAN and Ex 5xx KRIVÁŇ (Bratislava – Košice)

• Ex 652 will leave from Vrútky at a new schedule → Vrútky departure 5:10.

Trains R 107xx POVAŽAN (Bratislava – Trenčín / Púchov / Považská Bystrica / Žilina)

The changed train times are throughout the train route:

• changed train travel time: from Bratislava hl. st. departure xx:20 (35 minutes earlier) → Púchov arrival xx:23 (26 minutes earlier) → departure xx:25 (25 minutes earlier) → arrival in Žilina xx:54 (25 minutes earlier)
• changed travel time from Žilina departure xx:02 (35 minutes earlier) → Púchov arrival xx:31 (35 minutes earlier) → departure xx:34 (36 minutes earlier) → to Bratislava hl. st. arrival xx:40 minutes (25 minutes earlier).

Trains on the Žilina – Trenčín-Zlatovce line (line S1 IDS PLUS)

• direction from Trenčín: departure from Trenčín – Zlatovce xx:42 (- 6 min) → arrival in Žilina xx:14 (same)
• direction from Žilina: departure from Žilina xx:37 (- 8 min) → arrival in Trenčín – Zlatovce xx:13 (+ 3 min).

Trains on the Trenčianska Teplá – Horné Srnie line

• direction from Horný Srniň: departure xx:40 → arrival xx:50
• direction from Trenčianská Tepla: departure xx:06 → arrival xx:16.

Further adjustment

• train Os 3405 in the Liptovský Mikuláš (7:23) – Liptovský Hrádok (7:33) section – moved 5 minutes earlier.

New transfer times in Bytča from 1. 2. 2026

Changes in train transport valid from 1 February 2026 have required adjustments to the timetables on the KCP 120 line. The departure times of passenger trains on the S1 line (Os 33XX) have been adjusted, which will also affect the connections of regional buses in the Bytča area. The connections for line 050159, operating on the Bytča, auto. st. – Bytča, Hrabové, žel. st. route, have been adjusted as follows:

New transfer improvements:

• connections to the bus stop Bytča, Hrabové, railway station: arrival xx:49 → train departures direction ZA xx:57 → train departures direction TN xx:55
• connections from the bus stop Bytča, Hrabové, railway station: departure xx:15 → arrival of trains in the ZA direction xx:55 → arrival of trains in the TN direction xx:57.

The adjustment of the timetables was implemented with the aim of maintaining functional and timely transfers between individual types of public transport.
